Contracts, Grants & Awards
MWCDC primarily is a program development and management organization. Because of this, most of MWCDC’s funding is provided by awards received through successful applications to competitive funding programs. MWCDC has a long history of successfully competing for funding provided through local foundations, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the City of Pittsburgh and local authorities. Award funds are used to pay wages, program expenses, and other hard costs directly related to the tasks identified within each application.
