City planners approve South Hills High conversion. November 5, 2008 Pittsburgh Post Gazette article. South Hills High School update. The Pittsburgh Tribune Review of 10/30/08 posted a photograph of MWCDC's latest restoration work at the Point of View area of Grandview Scenic Byway Park. We are making good progress in all three of our active restoration areas, and are hoping to expand this important restoration work in the near future. Special thanks to the brave hearted members of Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc and Eichenlaub who braved yesterday’s frigid conditions to plant 150 of the trees! Our continued thanks to all of our funders, including those who are specifically supporting the restoration work at the Point of View -- Colcom Foundation, Roy A Hunt Foundation, and TreeVitalize Pittsburgh (which is a joint project of Allegheny County, City of Pittsburgh, PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy).
